Is printer ink poisoning a myth? Here I'm going to dispel. Today's ink is not toxic, it would take a very large amount to cause any harm to humans. However there are other residents in many families. Four-legged family members like cats and dogs in theory might be at risk. This is mainly due to its low weight and naturally curious nature.
We are surprised at a point in time as to what our pets have gotten into. The amount of ink they may intake is not harmful, you should be wary if they chew the cartridge or pen. They are also the risk of intestinal blockage or harden, they may have been chewing over any plastic parts.
Unless you catch up with your pet's behavior, you may not know they had ever got into printer ink, in addition to find ink staining poodle, tells the story of the signs. If you think your pet may be contact with the ink, you need to be cautious. Looks like the stirring of the indicators of intoxication, drooling, large staggering, seizures, vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty breathing and around the mouth or eyes of stimulation.
If your pet intake of printer ink and looks fine, keep a watchful eye on it and contact your veterinarian at your earliest convenience. If all goes well, the visit to the veterinarian may not need. You can also ring the Animal Poison Control Center.
If you find that the ink has been your pet's fur, the best way to clean up is to use a mild dish detergent. This will continue to be something in your home from the pet trying to lick it from staining, it is also maintained. Do not try to induce vomiting unless your veterinarian tells you to do so.
We all know that prevention is the best treatment, so please keep you and your pet's environment clean and tidy, so there is no opportunity for its intake of non-food items. Do not throw printer ink in the trash, recycling them to help save the environment. The more we can remain in landfills, the greener the future.
