We are heading toward a paperless society, this is one thing in the early days of computing that every expert i knew was clear. Paper was history. Our letters, budget sheets and reports would exist only as bits and bytes. Do we even need a printer or should consider of the ink and toner?
The prediction of a paperless world would come true in one way. Almost everything we do start on a computer screen. But most of us still keep a printer busy cranking out photos, homemade greeting cards, school and work reports, and even print a copy of our shopping list. Now look at your own desk at home, just guessing here, you'll find plenty of paper. Then walk through a modern business office. It may take quarter-acre of southern pine mills for the paper to produce all the paper you see.
There's a cost to all this, you pay it every time you buy a cartridge for your inkjet printer. Ounce price, excellent ink is more expensive than fine Russian caviar. Completely replacing all the ink and toner cartridges in a printer, in some cases, can be as expensive to buy a budget-priced printer.
