Printer ink cartridges Recycling Set To Rise In Aus


Next year, recycled printer ink cartridges in Australia will rise a new green project implementation. The Sydney Morning Herald reported that the country's television and computer products management plan will signal the end of electronics and related products - such as toner cartridges - being sent to landfill.

In 2007 and 2008, around 17 million televisions and computers in Australia reached the end of their useful life and there are no formal plan for they recycling place. Under the scheme, free collection points will be set up across the country, so it is easy for the public to carry printer and print cartridge recycling. Leading printer ink manufacturers are supporting the initiative, too.

C4PA scheme has been running for eight years, has recovered more than 16 million printer ink cartridges. Australia and New Zealan marketing manager Stephen bell from Lexmark ink International said, "C4PA program has been wonderful for our industry. This gives us a consistent brand participate in market, we have established a very broad collection network, which is a key component of its success."
