"Ignore" the low ink warning message

When the ink in ink cartridges begin to be low, usually you will see a message on the screen, telling you need to replace the printer ink. If you follow this advice, you may be throwing away a inkjet cartridge has reached 45% of its ink left. Yes ah, nearly half full of the ink cartridge may be discarded by you.

A few years ago, a computing magazine ran a test of several brands of printers, checking to see how accurate the low ink warnings were. Some brands had relatively accurate warnings, with only 8% of ink left. But other brands had up to 45% of the remaining ink.

We suggest that when you see the low ink warning in inkjet cartridges, buy a new cartridge. But do not install it until the ink runs out of the old cartridge. Soon you will have a good idea of how accurate your printer when it comes to printer ink low warning.
