A way to make your inkjet printer last longer

Now let's talk about a way to make your inkjet ink printer last longer. It's an easy way: Turn it off after every use. Most people have become accustomed to leaving a computer on for long stretches of time. But doing that with an inkjet printer greatly increases the chance that it'll stop working.

Here's the reason: The printhead is moved to a position that seals off the ink inkjets that do the printing when you turn the printer off and the part of the printer that does the heavy lifting in ptintehead. That keeps it from clogging. Once it clogs you'll either need a new printhead or a new ink inkjet printer.
