
Consumer reports did a test in 135 printers to find out the best money-saving printers. They assessed quality by printing thousands of pages of text, color graphics and photos, even used the latest all-in-ones. They also tested the time to see which had the highest efficient. But the resulet showed that speeds vary widely, with one machine printing almost three times faster than the others.
And because the cost of printer ink cartridges can really pile up, testers also checked how quickly printers run through ink. But still a surprise result that some printers cost more than twice as much as others to use.
